Biography —
Areas of Specialization: Human-Machine Communication
Hamza Mostafa is a PhD student and Graduate Teaching Assistant in Communication Studies and a Graduate Researcher at the Human-Machine Communication Lab (https://hmc.ku.edu), University of Kansas. He also serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Communication and Social Robotics Labs (https://combotlabs.org), focusing on instructional communication, human-machine interaction, and AI in journalism. Hamza currently has three co-authored articles under review in Q1 and Q2 journals and regularly presents his research at international and regional conferences. His interdisciplinary research interests span user experience, cultural studies, and the societal impacts of emerging technologies, supported by his additional Master’s degrees in Communication from Western Michigan University, USA, Sociology from South Asian University, India, and Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
