Rhetoric & Political Communication
Dr. McDonald’s work is in the area of rhetorical theory and public culture with a particular attention to the role that economics and the economy play in everyday life. Dr. McDonald teaches classes on public address, popular culture, and public speaking, and his work has been published in the Quarterly Journal of Speech, Advances in the History of Rhetoric, the Journal of Cultural Economy, and the International Journal of Žižek Studies.
